I finally got the last of the garden in, well my 26 year old daughter and I did.  Years ago when the kids were small we always grew a big garden, we had to to feed these kids.  The kids grew up and it became just Gloria and I so the garden lay fallow.  Hey we were getting old, only had the two of us to feed and frankly we did not need the produce.  Oh how times are changing.  Daughter came to us and mentioned that she was spending $40-$50 per week just on fresh veggies for her family of three.  She further asserted that organic produce was very difficult to find.  (I know folks say they grow organic but it just is not always so).  So we have a garden again, smaller just 50′x75′ but by golly we are using the space wisely.  Anyway yesterday we finished the planting and transplanting, my daughter and I and as we wrapped up the day we sat a chatted for a while about how tired we were and discussed the projected crop of fine vittles.  I am not sure but I think yesterday was that day we heard about as younger folks, you know the perfect day……
