Out in the yard this morning I just had to note that the trees are turning, there is a coolness in the air that indicates fall is on the way. The volunteer squash and sunflowers are starting to ripen and the wild dove flock is really cleaning up the parrots leftovers. The cotton tails seem to be disappearing but the squirrels are working hard. Yes fall is in the air. We are finishing out the Orange Wing Amazons we had hatch out this summer, fat and sassy they are going to be great companions for someone. The latest batch of parrotlets are about weaned and weather permitting we will have six new birds from several blood lines coming in airfreight next week. Yes, fall is in the air, proof is the 45 minutes it took me to get from my house to the post office-dad gum kids are back in school. LOL
