This has been a week. Baby born, sister turned 91, and by the way my web mistress’s baby girl is getting married “today”. Congratulations sweetie, hope to see many fat grand-babies for you and Jeff soon.
Back to normal. Birds need feeding, last babies for a while are almost weaned thank God. I love um and enjoy hand-feeding but there comes a time for a break. Amazons are still sitting tight, looks like the Red Lored and Orange Wings are on blanks. I will wait a few more days to see but the Blue Fronts are for sure on three fertile eggs. (they never fail to produce the greatest chicks) Have a feeling I am going to get to raise these out totally as my “buyer” of BFAs has had some changes in his world. I like hand-feeding Amazons, “just put the food in the open beak and do it dang fast”.
Today is cleaning day and my boy will be here in a bit. He started with me last year and is a good fellow. He cleans all the trays and does the floors and just about anything I really do not want to do, that way I can do the fun stuff. I hear a lot of folks says that this new generation does not know how to work, could be we just do not take the time to teach them because this little fellow can work! I might even get a couple more years with him, next year he starts driving and gas prices are high and……..
You all have a great weekend and go slow out there!

I stumbled upon your blog by accident a month or so ago and have found myself coming back to it at least a few times every week. You have become my favorite….
